====== Rename a Bluetooth Device on Windows 10 ======

Renaming a Bluetooth Device is not as simple as on Android sadly. This option is only availible in the older Win7-Controlpanel.

==== Step 1 ====

Navigate to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers.((You can do this quickly by entering the following path into Explorer: \\ ''Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers''))

==== Step 2 ====

Right click on the Device you want to rename > Properties.

Select the //Bluetooth// Tab.

The Name in the first line can be edited to your liking.((If there are multiple devices with the same name, they can be differentiated with their Unique Identifier (Mac Address) at the bottom.))

==== Step 3 ====

Turn of the Bluetooth Device and turn it back on.

:!: It is not enough to just disconnect the Bluetooth Device. It has to be turned off and back on again.
